Richard, Dan,  Jeff and Carl are the four
principal Sly Dogs...

They bring 117 years of combined business experience to the Sly Dog Cellars philosophy, 72 of those years in the wine industry.                     

 

 

Dan and wife Marguerite have been growing grapes for decades in the Napa Valley area. Many of their grapes have been blended into some of Napa's most prestigious wines and vintages. Dan is also a principal in Lakeside Winery.

 

Richard and his wife Louise have been in sales and marketing all of their business lives. The wines that Richard has marketed and brought to market from case #1, have combined sales of over one million cases.

 

Jeff is an attorney turned grower and budding winemaker whose passion is unsurpassed. Along with wife Beryl, they own a small Napa Valley vineyard and have 28 acres under cultivation adjacent to the valley

 

Carl began his wine career over 20 years ago with Gallo and has built numerous brands throughout the United States. Carl is President of DJ Dotson Brands, managing partner in Gran Amigo Tequila and owner of the brokerage firm Florida Wine and Spirits. His vast marketing and sales experience fit well into the Sly Dog team. His wife Ellen runs operations for the companies
